Meet Dr. Rashi Pandher

Dr. Pandher enthusiastically states, “I became an optometrist first and foremost because I love working with people!”

He was exposed to the profession and how optometrists interact with people early on. The healing arts always held a fascination for him and this profession allowed him to explore his love for helping and healing as well as work with a variety of people of all ages. They’ve always said, eyes are the windows to the soul and Dr. Pandher couldn’t agree more, often saying, “You can tell a lot about someone by their eyes – their mood, their health, their passion – it’s all in the eyes.”

Dr. Pandher attended the University of Waterloo.  During school, he was one of only three optometry students selected to go to the Dominican Republic to provide eye care and eye wear to under privileged communities.  He graduated from the University of Waterloo in 1997.

He began practicing optometry in 1998 and is a member of the Ontario Association of Optometrists.  In the years that followed, he helped build three clinics – in Mississauga, Brampton and Malton, but in August of 2011, he took the leap and opened his own dispensing clinic in Brampton and, due to popular demand, opened a second dispensing clinic in Mississauga in May of 2012.

In his spare time, Dr. Pandher enjoys a variety of sporting activities, being active in his community and spending time with his wife and three active boys.
